You go girl!

This from Dano:  Ketchum’s Georgia Gould just won the US National Cross Country mountain bike title. Taking time off from her job at Wrap City.  Way to go girl.

And that goes double from all of us at BWBT. Congratulations Georgia!

Galena Work Day #2 7.09.06

Before                                                    After

In the 'before' picture you can see that the trail is cupped, encouraging run-off to be channeled down the trail.  In the 'after' picture the trail's outslope has been reestablished.  Notice how the tool is tipping out just a little past vertical - an indication that the trail has about the right amount of outslope.

Laurie Leman, Eric Coury, and Chris Mallory work the switchback and get supervision from Humo.

Imperial Gulch 7.08.06

This new section of trail in Imperial Gulch in the Greenhorn system has been routed up onto an adjacent side slope. This gets the trail out of the wet bottomlands and onto a hillside where trail drainage can be maintained. Thanks Todd Byle and the KRD Trail Crew for your hard work on this project!
